Indian Premier League 2020, Kolkata Knight Riders vs Mumbai Indians: Pat Cummins, who scored over 15.50 crore runs of KKR, was out for 16.33
Pat Cummins was bought for Rs. 15.50 crore in December last year by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 auction. On his first outing for KKR against Mumbai Indians, Cummins had a sad time in the middle as he conceded 49 runs in three overs, at a rate of 16.33 runs per over. While the bowlers may have had bad days, at least in the format, as Cummins did, fans on Twitter were disappointed, upset and even furious with Cummins’ expensive feats in Abu Dhabi. “I am #PatCummins. I can only bowl short pitch. I have no diversity. I’m fooling @KKRider big time. I am getting 1.2 crore per match, ”said Prateek Saraogi on Twitter.

But not all were critics of Cummins. May have some sympathy with the bowler for a bad day.

Even former cricketers got into the act. Pragyan Ojha criticized Cummins for bowling for Rohit Sharma’s strength, while Akash Chopra commented on how Cummins scored 15 runs in his first over – close to KKR’s cost at auction.

Can anyone ask #PatCummins If he hasn’t seen @ ImRo45 The first batting or his analyst did not show him strength # Hitman. If you bowl him there, he will keep you out of the park all day.#ProGyaan # IPL2020 #KKRvsMI

Some went beyond criticizing Cummins and brought in other players, who have had such bad days in the past and have earned a bad reputation for themselves in the IPL.

The most expensive overseas buyer in IPL history, Cummins will look to calm and silence his critics next time he gets the ball for KKR.
