While RCB closed their league campaign on a winning note, KXIP lost a close and controversial game against Delhi Capital (DC) in the Super Over. The two sides have played 24 games against each other so far, and have 12 wins tied at Appsey. The team, which emerged victorious on Thursday, will have a slim lead with each other regarding the head to head stat.

RCB has appointed M.B. Won by a margin of 17 runs in their previous clash against KXIP at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. 202/4 after he was sent to bat, AB de Villiers scored 82 off 44 balls and Marcus Stoinis scored 46 off 34 balls.
KXIP failed to cross the line despite good batting by Chris Gayle, courtesy of KL Rahul, Nicholas Pooran and a fast start.
Mayank Agarwal gave a quality performance against DC in KXIP’s IPL 2020 opener, almost to win them out before being dismissed after a careless shot.
AB de Villiers was the star attraction during RCB’s win against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Captain Virat Kohli, however, failed to make his presence felt after being dismissed early.
Spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was the bowlers’ choice during RCB’s struggle to take three wickets. KXIP fast bowler Mohammed Shami was equally as impressive as the wickets Chahal caught while the flow of runs with DC.
