Royal Challengers Bangalore started their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 campaign with a win over Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday. The Bengaluru franchise will now play against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), which lost a super over thriller against the Delhi Capitals at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Thursday. RCB’s top order fired in their opening match of the season, barring captain Virat Kohli. Kohli will be up against another challenging bowling line-up with the likes of Mohammed Shami and Sheldon Cottrell leading the attack for KXIP.

Virat Kohli: Virat Kohli scored just 14 runs in his first competitive game as the coronovirus epidemic brought cricket to a standstill. After playing a game in Dubai and understanding the conditions, Kohli will hope to get a big knock under his belt to set the tone for the rest of the tournament.
Devdutt padikkal: The young opening batsman impressed everyone in his very first IPL game. Padikkal scored 56 and gave the innings a brilliant start with Aaron Finch. The youngster will be looking forward to what he will do against Sunrisers Hyderabad and help RCB gain momentum in the IPL 2020.
Yuzvendra Chahal: RCB captain Virat Kohli was full of praise for his leg-spinner after registering a 10-run win against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Chahal changed the game with two wickets in two balls in the 16th over. Kohli would be expecting the same performance from his spinner as RCB takes from KXIP in Dubai.

KL Rahul: The Kings XI Punjab captain looked good at the crease against the Delhi Capitals, but were dismissed by Mohit Sharma. KL Rahul had a dream in the IPL with the bat last season and this year helped him play the captaincy role. KXIP, like RCB, are yet to get their hands on the prestigious IPL Trophy and if they want to go all the way this year, KL Rahul will have to come good for the franchise.
Mohammad shami: Playing competitive cricket after almost six months did not become an obstacle in Shami’s line and length as he put on a terrific spell against the Delhi Capitals to start their IPL 2020 campaign. Pacer took three wickets for just 15 runs in the first match of KXIP. Shami will be a key player for the Punjab-based franchise when he takes part in the Virat Kohli-led RCB in Dubai.
Mayank Agarwal: Mayank Agarwal homered Kings XI Punjab in the first game, but despite his bravery with the bat, KXIP lost to the Delhi Capitals in the Super Over. Aggarwal looked fluent as he scored 89 runs off just 60 balls and wanted to continue his good performance with the bat.
