IPL 2020, RR vs KXIP: Yuvraj Singh’s reaction 5 sixes in Rahul Tewatia’s over

He came, he saw, he conquered. Absolutely not in the case of Rahul Tewatia. For the Rajasthan Royals hero, it would be more appropriate to say that he had come, he struggled but still triumphed. Sanju Samson and Steve Smith laid the foundation for an incredible chase. After the RR captain left, Teotia came into bat but struggled for a big time. At one time, Tewatia was on seven after facing 16 balls. However, Sheldon Cottrell’s over changed everyone as the RR all-rounder hit the match with five sixes in his head.

Yuvraj Singh, who hit six sixes in Stuart Broad’s over in the 2007 T20 World Cup, congratulated RR on Twitter for a resounding win. The left-hander also gave Tewatia a wide-ranging response, which he did for Broad.

Shree @ rahultewatia02 Na bhai na Thanks for missing a ball! What a game to congratulate rr for a great win !!! #RRvKXIP @mayankcricket Great knock @IamSanjuSamson Great! “Yuvraj Singh tweeted after the RR vs KXIP thriller.

Tewatia was dismissed for 53 off 31 balls, with Rajasthan Royals scoring the highest runs in IPL history.

While Teotia made headlines with his stunning turnaround, it was Samson’s stunning 85-run knock off 42 balls that turned the tide in RR’s favor.

After Rajasthan lost Jos Buttler (4) in a hurry, Samson and Smith (50 off 27 balls) added 81 runs for the second wicket to give Rajasthan the victory.

Tivtia then got close to the goal as Blitz RR.

Joffra Archer hit consecutive sixes in consecutive overs to put RP within touching distance, while Tom Curren finished it off with a four off the last ball to finish things off in the final over.
