After the match, Virat Kohli admitted that his mistakes cost the team “around 30-40 runs”.
After the big loss to RCB, Kohli said, “I think we were very good in the middle stage with the ball. I have to stand up and bear the brunt of it.”
The RCB captain said, “The cost is about 30-40 runs.” “If we had stopped them at 180, we would not have felt the pressure to go one off the ball.
“There are days when you have things like this. Just have to accept them,” he said.
RCB’s big 97-run loss meant they lost for the first time this season, following their win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in their opening match.
RCB and Virat Kohli will be seen returning in their next match, but it will be easy as they face defending champions Mumbai Indians in Dubai on Monday.
