Prime Minister Boris Johnson ordered Huawei equipment to be completely cleared of the British 5G network by the end of 2027, at the risk of angering China, hinting that the worlds largest telecom equipment manufacturer is disapproving of the West. The reason for this decision was the sanctions from the US towards Huawei, according to a statement by the British National Cybersecurity Center, a member of the GCHQ eavesdropping agency, which meant that Huawei was not a reliable supplier.
