According to Gavaskar the comment was in reference to a video clip in which Kohli and Anushka were seen enjoying some tennis ball cricket at their premises.

“First of all, I would like to say where I am blaming him, I am not blaming him. I am only saying that it is shown in the video that he was bowling to Virat. Virat has done this lockdown period. I have bowled only this much, ”said Gavaskar. Told India Today channel.

“It’s a tennis ball fun game in which people have to spend time during lockdown, so that’s all, then I’m blaming him for Virat’s failures.”

“I am the one who has always batted for wives going on tours with wives. I am the one who has always said that going to office for a 9-5 job like a normal man when he comes back home, So he comes back. Gavaskar asks why his wives can’t do it even with his wife.

He also tried to explain his comment. “As you can hear from the commentary, Akash was talking about the fact that there is little chance for any proper practice in lockdown, for everyone …

“….. which has really shown the plight of some players in their first matches. Rohit (Sharma) did not throw the ball well, now he has got runs in the second match, MSD (Mahendra Singh Dhoni) first. The ball was not to be hit well in the match. ”He then also revealed what he had said.

“….. Anushka was bowling them, so what I said is the only bowling. I haven’t used any other words. He was bowling them, that’s it, I’m blaming them , Where I am going. ” Sexist in it “I’m just stating what was seen on that video, which was probably recorded and put by someone in neighboring buildings and I’m just doing the same thing, but what I’m trying to do is It is that Gavaskar said, “There is no practice for anyone including Virat in lockdown.” … I have not been sexist, what can I do if someone has explained it. ‘
