IPL 2020, CSK vs SRH: Suresh Raina congratulated MS Dhoni as Chennai Super Kings captain became the most sixes player
MS Dhoni became the most capped player in IPL history on Friday, with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) facing Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 at the Dubai International Stadium. Raina, who pulled out of this year’s IPL, congratulated the former Indian captain on Twitter. He wrote, “Congratulations to Mahi Bhai (@msdhoni) for becoming an IPL player. Glad my record is being broken by you. Good luck for the game today and I am sure @ChennaiIPL will win this season’s @IPL. “

Soon after Dhoni’s wish, Raina gave heartfelt messages to the wicketkeeper-batsman to many CSK fans.
One user wrote, “Damn it just made my day !! # CSKvsSRH # IPL2020”.
Dhoni has played 194 IPL matches, the most by any cricketer.
He overtook Raina’s 193 IPL matches. The pair have performed in 164 matches together for CSK.
During his IPL career, Dhoni has scored 4,476 runs with 84 (not out) as his highest score.
He has also recorded a strike rate of 137.89. The CSK captain has scored 23 fifties, but has yet to score a century.
His boundary count with 299 fours and 212 sixes is also impressive.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma has played 192 IPL matches and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli has played 180 IPL games.
After winning the IPL three times, CSK began their 2020 campaign on a victory note, beating MI by five wickets. He suffered a 16-run loss to Rajasthan Royals (RR) and a 44-run defeat to the Delhi Capitals (DC).
CSK is currently at the bottom of the IPL table.
