In a major boost for Chennai Super Kings (CSK), team head coach Stephen Fleming confirmed on Thursday that Ambati Rayudu and Dwayne Bravo are available for selection for the next clash. “Yes, they are available for selection, so their experience within the team is going to be important,” CSK’s official website quoted Fleming as saying. CSK was last played on 25 September and will play next 2 October, which means the team will return to action after a six-day break. The MS Dhoni-led team suffered a 44-run loss to the Delhi Capitals in their last game.
Asked if the six-day break helped reassure things, Fleming said: “It was a good time because the first three games were in quick succession and all games were on different grounds, so you have to read the circumstances. Have to try, the first team to play mainly in each game was tough. And while facing some challenges off the field, we have used this break well, given us some clarity on what to do Needed and practiced a lot, well. “
In addition, CSK will be playing four of their next five matches in Dubai. Fleming said the team worked hard on areas where they needed improvement.
“It is very useful that we can try to settle in one place and not many, but many situations. I think that is a little bit compared to the performance of Delhi Capital in the last match we played in Dubai Look forward to performing. ” “There were a number of areas that we were not happy with, and we have worked hard on them,” Fleming said, noting how it helps to play four of the next five matches at the same venue.
CSK will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday.
